Her

When asked recently what she was thankful for she said "I am thankful for life"

Her wish: "that you will all stay active in church because the church has meant the whole world to me and without the gospel we are nothing".

Her prayer: she's thankful for all things eternal and for her family and this country.

Her song: Be Still My Soul

Her loves: Her family, cooking, painting, teaching, music, the Savior, the Couer d' Alene river, camping, Disneyworld, friends, praying, flowers, her greenhouse, her water fountain, her grandchildren, tootsie rolls, root beer floats, fireworks, road trips, sewing, feeling the spirit, listening, kitkats, visiting, reading the scriptures, gloria Vanderbilt body powder, horses, American Idol, Christmas crepes, bubble baths, the temple, and so much more....she loves life and it shows.

My son Taylor said of her last night when we left "She's the closest thing we have to Heaven"
Taylor you are so perceptive. She is! We were given a miracle to whitness. She is that miracle.
Driving on the way home last night in the car Isaac said "it was very calm there today". He is 5. Again very perceptive.
When we were done singing Families Can Be Together Forever the other night she said "I believe thats possible".
Well I believe thats possible to. That is the one thing thats gives me the most comfort in all this is knowing without a doubt we are part of a bigger plan.

Families are FOVEVER! It's amazing the peace that comes with knowing how much our heavenly father loves us and that we can be with our families no matter what. I'm so glad I have the gospel in my life, I can't imagine not having the knowledge that we have.

EDK is an angel. I love that Taylor said that about her. You are so wonderful Calie... so caring and gentle and thoughtful and always looking at the bright side of things. Thank you for sharing these phrases from EDK. I can hear her saying them...

Calie, Tell your mother in law that I think of her often. She is a great lady and one I will always have the utmost respect for.
