Were back!

Aloha!
So here are a couple of favorite pictures from our trip of the two of us. We have been back a week now and I am having a hard time getting back in the swing of things. I am missing the sun and water a lot. I dream of the warmth daily. Sometimes I think "did it do me any good to go on this trip because I keep wishing I was back there" hahaha of course it did!!! It was very much a healing balm for my soul. Thank you again Keith for an amazing gift this year.
Oh happy day!
Aloha!

Surfs up at Silver Mountain!

We took a trip to Silver Mountain and look what we found-- We stayed the night at the lodge and played at their indoor water park. Great fun and a great escape from all the millions of feet of snow we have here. We thought it was going to be the last hurrah before the kids went back to school and then come to find out they go to school one day and then 2 more days off from the snow and roofs caving in from too much snow. Our kids are saying yipee and I am saying enough already. Time for a routin again. Anyway here are some great pics from the flo rider-- enjoy!

Joy

Ringing in the new year was grand. Now it's time for renewing and refreshing all those goals. I have found that my greatest goal for this year will be to "find joy in the journey". My favorite word I think is joy. I have a necklace that I wear all the time and it says joy on it. When I say joy I just can't help but smile. I have a Christmas decoration that is a vinyle lettering tile board and it says on it "joy to the world" and I was puting it away yesturday and Ashlee asked me why I was puting it away and I said because it's a Christmas decoration and she didn't understand because I am always saying joy and she just thought it was suppossed to stay up all year round. Maybe I will keep it up........no it's already in the box packed away! And I am not getting back in those boxes for another year!!!! YIPEEE!

So joy to the world today! May all of us find joy in the journey!
