Motto

My motto this week has been "simplify". I thought it was interresting that this week I would see a guy wearing a shirt that said "the person with the most things in life still dies".

Oh how true that is. So its back to the basics for me. I can't wait for spring so I can dejunk and spring clean! And open my windows for some great North Idaho fresh air!!! (And a chocolate Easter bunny wouldn't hurt either).

Alright I know it can be beautiful and it helps with the moisture facter in the summer and all that but come on.... can't we just be done? !

Testing Faith

It's amazing to me how I can honestly say that puting the power of fasting and prayer to the test over and over again still works. I have this conversation with Heavenly Father each time I am earnestly seeking for answers "ok I am really serious this time" :) like He doesn't already know. I think it is me I have to convince and have faith in. I am sometimes afraid of failing or not following through. But when I have the faith in myself and believe that He will bless me for my efforts He always does. In His way. And it is a sweet and tender experience when I can just turn everything over to the Lord and say "it is out of my hands" and I am humbling myself and asking for help because I can not do it alone. I love those quiet moments of tender mercy. It somehow makes it all worth it doesn't it?! If I give it my best and do all I can the Savior will make up the rest for me. What a grand gift.
